Purpose of Job

Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges, which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels.

They undertake complex operational activities including supporting the implementation of cross-organizational activities and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect needed data and conduct proper analysis in order to develop detailed reports highlighting proposed sector/deputyship’s strategy
  • Communicate ZATCA’s and sector/deputyship’s approved strategic objectives and priorities to concerned internal stakeholders and support in the development of departmental annual operating plans and strategy accordingly
  • Collect departmental strategic, operational and budgetary plans in line with the sector/deputyship’s set strategic priorities, consolidate plans and coordinate with Strategy and Development sector to seek management approval
  • Develop and set KPIs and targets for sector/deputyship ensuring alignment with ZATCA’s strategic objectives
  • Ensure proper implementation of ZATCA’s approved operational plans and support internal sector/deputyship in identifying and resolving challenges in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate the implementation of cross-organizational activities and initiatives ensuring sector/deputyship’s adherence and compliance to organizational mandates and escalate discrepancies when needed
  • Coordinate with Strategy and Development sector and act as a focal point for business processes’ update ensuring alignment with ZATCA’s guidelines, templates and strategic objectives  
  • Follow-up on the project management activities of the sector/ deputyship and develop status update reports 
  • Draft recommended action plans based on meetings’ outcomes, communicate it with relevant stakeholders and follow-up on implementation of key decisions
  • Provide regular updates to the Vice Governor/ Deputy Governor on decisions’ implementation progress
  • Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
  • Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
  • Perform other duties as requested

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
