Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are responsible for developing frameworks, policies, and operational plans. They analyze complex challenges, understand business needs, integrate multiple concepts, and translate them into actionable measures, while providing support to enhance the department’s performance.
Their key operational duties include delivering world-class training courses on business continuity management, assisting in developing the competencies of team members related to business continuity, supporting strategic decision-making in the absence of the director, participating in the formulation of the management’s strategy and objectives, and helping formalize relevant plans to align with strategic directions.
Job Responsibilities
- Collecting and conducting business impact analysis and risk assessments to form a clear understanding of the authority’s current status, highlight threats, and prioritize accordingly.
- Conducting research and benchmarking to identify the latest trends and best practices implemented within the authority to maintain business continuity.
- Developing the business continuity plan, and establishing related frameworks and guidelines in coordination with the Planning and Monitoring Department to ensure alignment with the institutional risk management strategy.
- Initiating coordination mechanisms with the Technical Systems and Digitalization Department to track identified incidents and ensure proper event handling.
- Organizing and managing business continuity workshops with stakeholders to ensure their awareness of all relevant changes and updates.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent is preferred
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
