Purpose of Job

The job holder is responsible for managing Communication Research and Analysis function including data collection, analysis, communications and marketing planning, performance management, and reporting to promote awareness of ZATCA and its services, participation, and engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning  

•    Contribute to the development of Awareness business plan ensuring alignment with ZATCA strategy
•    Develop the operational plan for Communication Research and Analysis in line with Awareness business plan and Corporate Communications & Awareness strategic plan 
•    Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Communication Research and Analysis goals that support ZATCA’s overall strategic plans

Budget Management  

•    Discuss Communication Research and Analysis budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process
•    Ensure effective utilization of Communication Research and Analysis budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
•    Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for Communication Research and Analysis and mitigates financial and operational risks

Data Collection and Analysis  

•    Manage research and benchmarking studies locally and globally to identify the latest trends and best practices in communication strategy that can be applied to enhance communications tools, strategies and performance in promoting in the best way awareness and communication campaigns
•    Manage research and benchmarking of best practices to study target customer segments and behaviours to support the development of ZATCA’s marketing strategy
•    Manage evaluation and analytical studies using new tools to support decision-makers in new approaches, campaigns’ launching, regulations
•    Identify certifications and prestigious awards that are viable of acquiring at ZATCA and manage the application process 

Planning, Performance Management and Reporting  

•    Manage the development of communication strategy and initiatives in line with ZATCA overall strategy and objectives based on best practices and internal needs
•    Manage the development of annual plans related to advertisement and marketing campaign activities including objectives, implementation roadmaps, calendar, and target audience and manage launching and implementation  
•    Manage the development of marketing strategy, approach, initiatives, policies and processes in line with ZATCA’s overarching strategy and objectives based on best practices and internal needs 
•    Set KPIs to monitor the performance of communication activities across ZATCA and secure achievement of communication and marketing goals
•    Monitor the execution of communication strategy, evaluate and assess continuously the performance and effectiveness of communication and marketing campaigns, events and workshops across all social media platforms against pre-set KPIs, identify gaps, and enforce improvements and corrective actions 
•    Identify potential media crisis and risks, and manage the development of rapid plans in coordination with relevant functions to handle arising media crises
•    Ensure timely and effective resolution of identified discrepancies, media crises, and corrective actions’ implementation
•    Submit personalities’ analysis reports about the attendees before the Governor’s receptions, ceremonies, and visits 
•    Provide sentiment analysis for announcements and new regulations presenting opinions, feedback, and attitude towards them
•    Enhance internal and external communication through gathering and analyzing data across different channels

Education

•  Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent is required 
•  Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent is preferred

Experience

An optimal of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 3 years of experience in managerial level
