Purpose of Job

Incumbents at this level perform their work with high independence, with technical and operational supervision of the relevant specialists and processes, and ensuring adherence to the policies and procedures adopted. They also oversee the organization, classification and maintenance of the Governor's Office correspondence, review the quality of work and propose developmental improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle  incoming  and outgoing confidential mails on a daily basis (mails, memos, etc.) and faxes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Record all incoming and outgoing confidential correspondence for tracking purposes
  • File, classify and preserve all correspondences in line with archiving policies and procedures
  • Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Send all confidential official correspondence and documents to external bodies in a timely manner
  • Safeguard and maintain preserved documentation in case of incidents, damages or deterioration by implementing mitigation plans
  • Guarantee all documents are saved electronically and destroyed when due by Destruction Committee
  • Perform other duties as requested

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Documentation, Business Administration, or equivalent is required 

Experience

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
