Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals who work under general guidance. They are primarily responsible for analyzing and resolving complex issues escalated from lower levels.
Their key operational duties include developing governance and compliance policy frameworks and tools, preparing guidelines and standards for governance and compliance management, creating monitoring plans, tracking employee performance and compliance, conducting risk assessments to reduce non-compliance, and delivering training on governance and compliance management.
Job Responsibilities
- Reviewing committee decisions for consistency.
- Reviewing change requests related to documents, policies, and regulations to identify gaps and risks in the financial and administrative operations of zakat, tax, and customs committees.
- Assessing committee performance and achievements to determine overall and varying performance levels and their causes.
- Preparing awareness materials to build internal knowledge and capabilities on risk management and compliance.
- Assisting in resolving escalated issues and providing necessary support to less experienced teams to ensure efficient task execution.
- Escalating complex problems to the appropriate person to ensure proper and timely resolution.
- Performing other tasks as required by the job.
- Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes
