Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are responsible for leading work activities and working autonomously with minor direction towards predetermined long-term objectives.
Jobholders oversee the implementation of operational plans and the provision of significant improvements to set policies, procedures, standards and reports.
Their main operational role includes supervising the development of IT security projects implementation plan. Manage the implementation of IT security projects and recommend corrective actions to all stakeholders. Lead the implementation of the IT security assessments and audits and provide reports to all relevant stakeholders. Supervise the implementation of IT security compliance program to achieve the compliance objectives. Follow-up on the implementation performance of IT security projects against set of KPIs and ensure proper implementation of the highlighted corrective actions.
Job Responsibilities
IT Security Implementation
• Gather all requirements of ZATCA IT security projects, develop IT security project plans, and implement them in cooperation with all stakeholders to ensure IT security objectives are achieved
• Prepare IT risk assessment environment as designed, implement periodical IT risk assessment activities and update the risk register in order to share results with IT Security Architecture and relevant stakeholders
• Support in the development of IT security compliance program and audits, implement them as planned within budget, time, and quality and communicate results report to all stakeholders for improvement
• Monitor the implementation progress of IT security projects, analyze actual performance against set of KPIs, highlight needed corrective actions, and communicate periodical progress reports to stakeholders
Organization and Operations
• Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
• Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
• Perform other duties as requested
People Management
• Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
• Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
Experience
An optimal of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 3 years of experience in managerial level
