Purpose of Job
Provide advice and support to the Innovation Management in developing and implementing innovative strategies and initiatives that enhance the ZATCA’s ability to adapt to changes and achieve long-term objectives. The strategic expert contributes to improving the overall performance of the ZATCA by analyzing the external environment and providing innovative and informed recommendations
Job Responsibilities
- Track the latest economic, technological, and social trends that may impact the ZATCA’s activities, and analyze available data to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
- Perform in-depth analytical studies of target markets to identify new opportunities the ZATCA can leverage and the threats it should prepare for.
- Prepare analytical reports regularly highlighting major developments in the external and technological environment, and present them to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Apply competitive intelligence tools and techniques to collect and analyze data related to the market, helping predict future changes in the external environment.
- Organize and coordinate regular sessions that bring together various teams within the ZATCA and external partners to generate innovative ideas and think outside the box.
- Build strong relationships with external partners such as universities, research centers, and tech companies to benefit from their expertise and expand the scope of creative ideas.
- Establish clear criteria for evaluating proposed ideas and select the most feasible and implementable ideas to develop them into innovative projects.
- Work on converting innovative ideas into prototypes that can be tested and evaluated in a real work environment.
- Implement detailed feasibility studies to assess the proposed ideas' financial, technical, and operational aspects before starting their implementation.
- Perform comprehensive analyses to identify and assess potential risks associated with implementing new ideas and develop plans to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with different departments within the ZATCA to secure the financial, human, and technical support needed to implement innovative ideas.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent is required
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
• PMP Certificate, or equivalent is preferred
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
