Purpose of Job

The job holder is responsible for managing the Warehouse Management function including planning, organizational and technical warehouses’ management, stock administration and reporting to ensure optimal warehouse utilization, availability of stock at all times, and proper movement of items and seized goods in/out of related warehouses.

Job Resposiblites

Contribute to the development of Procurement business plan ensuring alignment with ZATCA strategy

Develop the operational plan for Warehouse Management in line with Procurement business plan and Finance and Administration strategic plan

Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Warehouse Management goals that support ZATCA’s overall strategic plans

Discuss Warehouse Management budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process

Ensure effective utilization of Warehouse Management budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges 

Job Details

Manage the definition/ update of criteria for general assessment and classification of items and training and technical materials

Manage the development of cost-effective material management plan to ensure availability of needed stock in warehouses

Manage the development of guiding principles for items and materials’ reception and storage to properly manage stock-in and optimize space utilization

Manage the development of indexing and classification standards, codes, methodologies and systems to ensure proper material tracking

Manage the development of strategy to deal with unwanted obsolete, scrap and damaged organizational equipment/ materials

Manage the development of policies related to organizational and technical warehouses’ management including but not limited to safety and security management, cleaning guidelines, quality control, etc.  

Identify optimal stock levels based on assessment of current and historical stock demand and trends

Manage organizational and training and technical materials' flow from/to ZATCA warehouses and storage ensuring all items are available to avoid shortages  

Approve purchase orders/ requests in case requested organizational items or required materials are not available in stock

Manage logistics of organizational items and training and technical materials ensuring timely delivery to related warehouses

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent is required 
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred 

Experience

An optimal of 7 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 2 years of experience in managerial level

A minimum of 5 years of experience is required
